Elizabeth Story, M.D. announced today that she has assumed the concierge medical practice of long-time primary care physician Dr. James Bohnsack, M.D. on Harris Parkway, effective December 1.
“Considering the myriad health challenges our community and nation has been experiencing on many levels – both physical and mental – my goal is to provide forward-thinking, preventative and whole-person medical care for all of my patients,” said Dr. Elizabeth Story. “Dr. Bohnsack has built an incredible foundation that I am excited to further develop and grow. He has been a phenomenal role model and mentor, and his dedication to his patients sets a high standard that I am committed to upholding.”
“I have spent the last few years looking for someone that I though was a good fit to assume control of this practice and bring new energy and insight,” said Dr. James Bohnsack. “Dr. Story has been working with me for the past several months and she is well-qualified, intelligent, motivated and caring. Her patients will continue to have excellent care, and I am delighted to be putting my practice in her hands.” Dr. Bohnsack started his practice in 1980 and converted to a membership medicine model fourteen years ago.
Dr. Story believes strongly in the benefits of concierge medicine for patients, including saving time and money by avoiding emergency room or urgent care visits; having access to convenient same-day appointments and timely responses to patient questions; and receiving individualized, consistent personal care from the primary doctor and team.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest and medical degree from Texas A&M, Dr. Story completed her Residency in Family Medicine at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth.
