WHY MEMBERSHIP MEDICINE?
In recent decades, healthcare has evolved into a system where family practice physicians spend less time with patients and more time navigating administrative demands. Today, primary care doctors typically see each patient for only 15 minutes and manage over 2,000 patients due to insurance-driven pressures.
With a membership or concierge model, we cut out the insurance middleman, allowing us to spend meaningful time with each patient. We address everything from acute issues to preventive care, offer unlimited appointments, and are easily accessible by phone and email. This approach brings back the traditional doctor-patient relationship—personalized care from a doctor who truly knows you, like having your own doctor on call.

- Yearly wellness exam including baseline labs and age-based preventative exams such as pap smears
- Same day or next day office visits
- In office minor procedures (not including Botox, Juvederm, etc.) such as for skin cancers, benign growths, steroid injections for joint pain, ingrown toenails, and cryotherapy among many others
- 24 hour access to your doctor
- Well-child (vaccines not included) and well-woman care (non-obstetric)

Services Not Covered Include:
- Hospitalization, in-hospital care
- Obstetrical services
- Specialty lab work including pathology services
- Non-routine inoculations or injections (such as B12 or other supplements)
- Specialized physicals such as for DOT Worker’s compensation claims
- X-rays or other imaging services including mammograms
- Cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Kybella and Juvederm, but offered at a discount for members!
- Other specialty services
Membership with Dr. Story’s doctors office is not insurance and is not meant to replace insurance. We feel that insurance is a good thing to have, but routine and preventative care really is best addressed with a direct relationship such that you would get here at our practice. The fees for membership are discussed in detail in the Medical Services Agreement and can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the office for more information!
Fees can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. The simplest method is to set up an auto-draft, like a cable or internet subscription.
